First Easter Basket

I've only done a few link up's in the past, but this Easter Basket Showcase hosted by Sarah was just too enticing to pass up. What a neat idea!

I remember Easters as a kid, and I never got anything half as cool as what kid's get today. In fact, I don't really remember getting anything as a gift, just going on egg hunts and eating loads of sugar. *Sigh*

Enough about my sad, deprived childhood though...

I am so excited to celebrate our second Easter together as a family of three this Sunday! Last year Natalie was only 3 months old, so I didn't give her anything. Having an older child now makes the holidays so much more enjoyable and fun.

The best part is I get to create wonderful memories for my daughter starting with baskets full of stuff.

So what'd I get her? The typical bubbles, chalk, stickers and then a few larger goodies I thought she would enjoy. The list is below!

(I ordered everything I linked to from Amazon, all the little fillers are from Walgreens.)

Reusable Sticker Pad
Magnetic Fishing Game
Finger Puppets

What's in your little one's basket this year? Did you get Easter gifts as a kid, or just candy and eggs?

We've always done just candy, but this year I might add some books. My boys have that puzzle and sticker book and love them both!

I agree! The older they get the more fun it becomes! Hadn't seen that magnetic fishing game but might have to get that for Drew! And you MUST take a picture of Natalie in that dress.... it's DAH-LING! Thanks for linking up friend!

We have that M&D sticker book too and it is a huge hit. I adore that dress and can't wait to see pics of Natalie in it. Happy Easter!

First, I LOVE the blog design!!! Love, love. I'll have to link up. I got the boys mostly activity stuff from the $1 store. I'd rather that then too much candy. Good picks for her basket.

I was so grateful for Sarah's link up. I didn't go shopping for Tay's basket until Friday so I got so many great ideas from her link up. Great basket and gorgeous dress!

Finger puppets would be so fun! And you have to post pictures once you get her in that dress. It's so pretty.
At our place, the girls got marshmallow treats, heart-shaped sunglasses, beach toys, foam stickers. Then of course we 'hid' plastic eggs in plain sight for them to collect in their buckets. Overall, a successful Easter. But next year will be so much better when they're 2.5 and 3 years old.

Wow, you did an awesome job putting together her basket with so many really neat items... and still not going over the top! :) Those reusable stickers look like fun... it all does actually. And such a pretty dress!
