End of 2012

2012 was nothing extravagant for me or my family.

We didn't move into a newer, bigger house, didn't win the lottery and didn't travel anywhere exotic.

But I am leaving this year behind with some great memories.

We took a few nice family trips, spent lots of lazy days together, celebrated birthdays and anniversaries and proudly awed over milestones reached, both big and small.

I didn't take up any new hobbies, didn't change jobs, didn't lose a ton of weight and still have no clue what I'm doing in the kitchen but I'm happy to say I've learned at least a little bit about being a mom.

I'm so much more comfortable now than I was at the start of the year and I actually feel like (some days) I know what I'm doing and know my baby pretty well.

We have no plans for this evening, other than to relax at home and possibly stay up til midnight.

Happy New Year's to all of you! Thank you so much for being here and reading my boring ass posts! I love you all.

No idea why, but the top of my husbands head always gets cut out of pictures. :p

Lose weight?! You're so skinny already! I like your laid back attitude. Natalie is getting big. She looks the same size as Evie. Stinks were not closer do they could play.

Your 2012 sounds very much like mine. We didn't do anything madly exciting but we slowly got used to our new life as a family of 4 and managed to enjoy ourselves along the way. If we can do the same in 2013 then I won't be complaining one little bit.

Not boring, real and funny! Happy New Year and I love staying in anytime, I am the biggest homebody, although my husband isn't and he usually drags me out to have fun, and I of course end up always having a good time.

What a pretty family y'all make! We did the same thing, or didn't do actually. And we are so lame, we didn't even stay up until midnight. And getting a NYE kiss was on my 101 things list...blast, I'll have to wait until next year to cross it off now.

Happy New Year to your adorable fam! I think figuring out how to be a mom is a better accomplishment than learning to cook anyways :) Maybe 2013 is your year for the lottery!
