Fitness Friday

a mad girls lovesongI haven't done a Fitness Friday in awhile and that's because I have not been keeping up with my goals to get in better shape.

I fell off the wagon and it was hard getting back on it. I know I'm not where I want to be. I know all the obvious things like I'm not going to lose weight without putting in hard work. It is just so hard to stay motivated.

I'm taking steps to get back in the right direction though. I've cut calories and finally started using our jogging stroller for jogging. I always thought that eating whatever the fuck I wanted made me happy but now that I'm eating better I feel happier.

I love going running with Natalie and we've done it every day this week (except today since I work until eight). This is pretty much the first time I've ever gone jogging in public and I'll admit I feel pretty awkward. I think I run like an idiot and from the way people look at me they definitely agree.

I'm glad I'm getting things started again but I really wish I hadn't given up in the first place and started this earlier. I have a long road ahead of me but I know it will be worthwhile in the end.

Joggin' stroller babe.

My husband and I do the Insanity workout every night after our daughter goes to sleep. We LOVE it!

Good for you!! Getting back on the band wagon really is the hardest! And running every day this week except for today? That's huge! SO awesome!
And I promise people aren't judging you as you run :) I can't wait until I can get back into running after I have the baby! My sciatic acts so badly now that I've had to stop running :(

Gosh, missed you girl. I've been dragging in blogland lately. Had to come say hi to my Seany though! You go girl...you are my hero. I so need to start running, & get my butt in gear... literally! You have the cutest workout partner ever!

Wahooo! I'm back on the wagon this week too... and it HURTS! Definitely worth the pain, though.

Ps, love the stroller ;) People with baby trend jogging strollers are so awesome. (That's what we have too!)

You're looking goooooood! Without sounding like a lesbian (I think I may actually be turning into one), you have bloody good legs!!
I also run/jog (and probably even walk) like a jerk. I never thought I did until someone told me when I was 10, "Jazz you run like Chris!" - no one wanted to run like Chris, he ran like an absolute psychopath. Then when I was about 13, at parents evening my sports teacher told me I flap my arms about like a bird and kick my legs sideways. Ah well, who cares. I'm pretty sure the people aren't looking at you because of you running, just jealous that you have a cute baby. Shoot them an evil smile.
Keep it up!

Aww, don't be too hard on yourself. I tell myself all the time I need to go for a walk or go to the gym and never do it. You're doing way better than me. I'm also a foodie, it's all about comfort food for me. Good for you for jogging, me and running do not mix, I prefer to walk. I have bad knees anyway, I've never been a runner. Anyway, don't feel bad, at least you got back on the wagon. I started going ot the gym over a year ago, fell off the wagon and haven't got back on since. You should give yourself a pat on the back!

Ooh loving the jogging stroller! I need to get out there and get a little more into shape but I must be the laziest person alive because I am just letting all this summer and nice weather pass me by while I sit inside doing nothing important. At least you're trying, good for you!

Such a nice stroller! I find running with the jogging stroller to be so so tiring! Especially uphill! It is a killer workout!
