Just wanted to let everyone know that I have a guest post on my wedding today over at Petchies BlogBook! She's a super cute soon to be bride planning her wedding. Go check it out and feel free to leave a comment. :)
Prior to becoming pregnant I had a ridiculously good memory. My first being at the young age of just two years old. I know that sounds impossible but it's true. It was a spring or summer afternoon and I was with my grandma, sister and mom and we were going to McDonald's. I was wearing a pink, ruffled dress. As we were walking inside, I remember seeing a bee fly by. Once inside I was in the large play room that catered to children with arcade like video games, a ball room, slides and other entertainment. I was playing a Sesame Street video game and the next thing I remember was screaming at the top of my lungs. I saw my mom at the counter about to pay when her and my grandma rushed over to me. That little bee I so innocently walk by had flown up my dress without me knowing and stung me right on the neck. Little bastard. The hospital was literally right across the street and I was admitted there for whatever treatment they give to two year olds stung by bees. The hospital gave me a teddy bear, which I think played music because I remember unzipping it's back and there was a sound box. I thought this was the funniest thing, because to me I was unzipping the bears butt and this was just hysterical. I don't know how long I was in the hospital, probably a few hours, possibly one day but the whole experience was enough to be burned in my memory and still make me flinch and runaway whenever I see a bee to this day.
What's your earliest memory? How old were you? Did it influence who you grew up to be in any way?

Petchie's my sister, so neat you got featured too! I loved looking at your wedding pics.
Earliest memory: Around 2 when my mom dropped my sister I and off to daycare and my sister started screaming when she left. I remember trying to comfort her and tell her she could have juice. Strange one, but true!
its hard to remember my earliest memory It must have been with my parents on our farm!!

I am pretty sure you said little bastard at the age of two, too. HA HA. Love you, Sean. That's too bad. I am sorry you got stung. I hate bees. I freak out every time one gets close to me. Thanks for the cool idea. Earliest memory. Breaking my leg at the age of 2. I definitely remember that. :)
I wish I had a better memory. My earliest memory is when I was 4. I know that because I was putting a piece of bread in the toaster and asking my mom when I could go to school. She said next year I could. I wanted to join all the big kids at the magical place of learning.
My first memory was my third birthday! We had a magician. I remember it so vividly.
Just discovered your blog, its so inspiring. My earliest memory is having a barbie doll cake for my 4th birthday
Stupid bee. I can also remember things from when I was 2! I was at my grandparents old house and I was wearing a panda bear t-shirt. This is further proof that we would probably be chums in real life. ;)
Yikes! That's a painful first memory to have. I can actually remember sitting on my dad's lap and getting a plastic bear puzzle for my second birthday. Though I don't remember anything after that. So glad I came across you blog!
Damn bees! I have never (knock on wood) been stung but Leah has already been stung TWICE, ugh!!
I think my earliest memory was a traumatic one as well. Jumping up and down on my parents bed and falling into the metal blinds and cutting my mouth. Followed by an ER trip where I remember drinking apple juice from a straw. Random! Ha!
Just stopping by to say hey and thanks for following, congrats to you as well!
See?! Clearly we were mean to be friends, with our crazy freaky-good memories! I'm the same way. Chronologically, I don't know what my earliest memory is, but I remember several things from when I was 3/4 years old. I can totally picture baby Sean in a little pink dress screaming "little bastard!" Haha- I kid. I know you didn't actually say it, but it's funny to think about. :)
Found you on 20sb :) I just wanted to say, I love your blog design! I love bird things.
