36 weeks!

Happy November! 29 more days until my due date. Time is beginning to slow down it seems but it feels like this pregnancy has passed by fairly fast til this point. Physically I can't complain too much. My belly is in the way of everything and it is a struggle to do things like reach over and shut the car door. My back hurts a lot. When I get up from sitting or laying down my body has to adjust to the strain of all this weight and I kind of hobble around like an injured animal. I know things could be a lot more uncomfortable and I am grateful to not have bad heartburn or anything else that a lot of women go through in the last stage. This is going to sound kind of dumb but I'm not sure if I've been experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions or not. My stomach gets hard sometimes but usually only in the center and not anywhere else. I have been feeling menstrual like cramps a lot but that was true in the first and second trimester as well. The cramps feel more intense than the typical growing pains of my uterus expanding though. Can you have real contractions without being in labor? This pregnancy thing is way over my head.

I was always so confused about contractions too. When I went in to get induced, they said I was having regular contraction and I didn't even know it.

But, you look fantastic, and that's the most important part. :)

I still have no idea if I had contractions or not before labor! Same as you, sometimes it would feel tight and crampy.
LOVE the pics with all the leaves, very cute. I wish I would have taken more prego pics!

love your look! yes, you can get real contractions without labor. what makes contractions considered "labor" is the frequency and intensity. if they are coming about 5 mins apart or getting stronger and stronger call the doc. sounds like you are having BH or contractions, but that's normal. your stomach will feel tight or hard to the touch and then release.

My doctor told me you have contractions all throughout your pregnancy - most are just too mild to be noticed! I also think I remember her saying that a sign of contractions that foresee labor are the kinds that hurt from your back to your front!

I never knew if I was having any contractions either. But everything you posted sounds just like me so I am going to hope you have a nice easy labor like we did too!! (Though once the real contractions did come, there was no mistaking them because I felt like I was being run over with an 18wheeler... so I will hope THAT doesn't happen to you lol)

Oh I love those photos. Absolutely beautiful. I think I've mentioned I have maybe 3 photos of myself pregnant because I was way too sick to care, looking at your gorgeous photos and belly I so regret it.

I can relate to the whole contraction confusion. I never did memorized the count or minutes. Lucky for me my water broke with the first 2 and I knew that was a sign to go to the hospital.

With my son my neighbor had to tell me I was in labor and drive me to the hospital. I was kind of in denial. Whoops.

You look wonderful! I am so not the person to answer contraction questions... I didn't even know that my water had broke, let alone when.... I was feeling a few contractions, but nothing major... I remember looking at my mom while in the hospital and said, "man... I think I gotta poo!" I was like what bad timing! LOL The nurses all came running in when they heard me though. To this day my daughter is still a poo head.
