Surprise Baby Shower!

So I was right and today my co-workers threw me a nice surprise baby shower! It was truly so thoughtful and generous of them to do it and I appreciate it so much. I received some lovely gifts which included cute clothes, wash clothes, toys, bottle scrubber, pacifiers and a breast pump! Those breast pumps are really pricey and it just goes to show how much they care. (Hair dressers don't make that much money.) The shower was complete with an awesome ice cream cake and a mommy to be sash for me to wear. Thanks again everyone! Though I'm not sure why I'm thanking you on my blog since none of you know it exists and if you did you wouldn't read it!  :p

How convenient that I brought my camera to work today!

Some of the excerpts from the card:

"Sean! Love David X"

"Yaay Sean congrats on your soon to be baby girl I'm so excited for ♥ Gywana"

"Sean! Congrats on your pregnancy?!..."

Do these horizontal stripes make me look fat? Or is it the fact that I'm about to devour half of a cake? (That's a Kit Kat in my mouth, FYI.)

Staging the photo's to emphasis surprise

Thanks Shelli for the skulls and crossbones baby blanket! She's going to enjoy that so much when she's smoking cigarettes and boozing up! (Shelli's the blonde.)

Rachel not even pretending to care that I'm pretending to open her gift for the first time. (Rachel's the one one her cell phone not giving a crap.)

This cake was so delicious! It was a red velvet ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. They totally wrote my name in blue because they thought "Sean" was a dude. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
My lavish decorations
Me and the amazing Esther. Seriously I love this girl!

Even when she makes ugly ass faces.
Mama to be!
Thanks so much for all the generous gifts guys!

Looks like fun! LOL at all the recreated photos, and at the bakery assuming you were a guy because your name was Sean. :O

So nice! That is really sweet of them and yes breast pumps are SO expensive, ugh!
I was actually thinking that you look amazing in the pics and the horizontal stripes make you look not even that far along in my opinion!

It's so exciting once you have those little clothes and are just waiting to use them. Love your comment on the blanket, funny. I also love the fact that you take pictures with candy bars in your mouth, you are one beautiful and funny mama to be.

Aww how fun! Did you tell them they were less than obvious about planning the surprise? Haha. That cake sounds amazing!
