WTF?! Friday

It's time for WTF?! Friday. I'm so glad this week is over and I'm looking forward to a nice, chilly weekend lounging around the house. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

The other day I checked my spam inbox on my email account and saw that there was junk in there from myself. I’m perplexed as to how this has happened. Is there a parallel universe with another me trying to connect via email? Probably not. Do hackers really think spoofing my email address is going to make me think I sent something to myself and click on whatever virus they're looking to spread? They really have a better chance of that happening by sending me job offers where I can earn a million dollars a year by working from home. WTF, hackers?!

I’m not going to say I am smarter than technology developed by ingenious, nerdy, white men but sometimes I'm smarter than software developed by ingenious, nerdy, white men. Microsoft Word can be extremely useful but can also really piss me off. I'll type something along the lines of, "It's going to be a beautiful day," and good ol' Microsoft let's me know I am incorrect and tries to replace "it's" with "its". I took third grade English. I know when and how to use a conjunction properly. WTF, Bill Gates?!

I've never been a huge meat fan, especially now that I'm pregnant, but occasionally I do love a good burger or tasty ham sandwich. I completely respect vegetarians and get why they don't eat meat and find it disgusting. Sometimes animal rights activists need to lighten up though. Exhibit A: The New York Post ran a story in their food column about delicious, crispy chicken along with a photo of a chicken posed "seductively". The ad was meant to be funny as anyone with a sense of humor can clearly see. PETA called it "offensive" and compared it to necrophilia. Yeah, who wouldn't want to jump that sexy chickens bones? WTF, PETA?!

Gone are the days when teachers were allowed to beat students with rulers for misbehaving. It seems they've come up with a new way of scaring young, impressionable minds though and that's by having sex with their students. Yet another FEMALE teacher is now under investigation after nude photos of herself circulated the school, followed with rumors that she was having relations with her students. The investigation proved she was giving more than extra credit to at least three boys. Minus that crazy look in her eyes and maybe with a little more color on her skin, she wouldn't be so bad of a catch. Oh, right, the pedophile thing. WTF, creepos?!

Your first segment about spam emails was freaking hilarious and about that teacher - wow. That is seriously disgusting and the saddest thing is, this is probably the third time I have heard of this happening.

Ugh about the teacher. That turns my stomach. And I know this seems a bit sexist, but I find it shocking that it's always the women who get caught doing these things. What's wrong with these ladies!!!??

I seriously LOLed at that "seductively" posed chicken! HILARIOUS!

I'm tired of hearing about these teachers. I guess I should just be glad I have girls instead of boys because it's always the women teachers.

I am glad you feel smarter than technology, I will never feel that way in my life. Whatever.
