The Sweetest Thing

I may have decided on a cake. I like to keep it classy (wedding wise, at least) and think this cake is beautiful and elegant. We definitely don't need a four tier cake, however, so taking the bottom part off would save us some money. It may be the picture but I think the frosting/fondant looks tinted a little yellow and would ask for that to be cream/ivory. As for the cake topper I like the flowers a lot but they might add a tad too much oomph. I was thinking either lessening the bouquet to something smaller or doing an initial cake topper (which would be the letter p). I am not a huge fan of the plastic bride and groom topper, even with all the modified versions to choose from: bride fishing groom by his pants, bride dragging groom by collar, bride on grooms back, couple playing a sport, etc.Neither of us are huge sweets fans so we haven't talked about the kind of cake it's going to be. I think either chocolate (can't go wrong) or red velvet would suit most peoples taste buds. Anyway, most people will probably be too drunk to even care how it taste!

The cake is beatiful. I think red velvet is perfect. A little classier than chocolate. But that's just this girls opinion. :)
